At The Folk Arena Australia (TFA), Bhangra and Giddha are not just dance forms — they are a sport, a lifestyle, and a discipline.

Every beat, every jump carries hours of hard work, sweat, passion, and dedication. What the audience sees on stage is celebration, but behind it lies intense training, physical endurance, mental strength, and deep respect for Punjabi folklore.

TFA is a movement born from Varis Virse De Folk Arts Academy, an organisation based in GOLD COAST that has been working tirelessly to preserve, promote, and empower Punjabi culture and folklore for the past 4–5 years. This journey has been built on consistency, community support, and an unshakeable belief in our roots.

We believe Bhangra and Giddha deserve the same recognition as any competitive sport — demanding strength, stamina, timing, teamwork, discipline, and commitment.

We stand for:
• Respect for culture
• Discipline over shortcuts
• Passion over excuses
• Pride in Punjabi roots

Our mission is to inspire the next generation to embrace folk arts with confidence, treat them professionally, and push boundaries while staying true to their origins.

At TFA, we don’t just create performers —
we build athletes of folk, leaders of culture, and the future of Bhangra & Giddha.
